What does a medical cannabis telehealth appointment look like?
Telehealth appointments are conducted over the phone or via video call. Telehealth doctors appointments are conducted much like if they are face-to-face, with the doctor inquiring into your presenting condition and reviewing your case history.
The main difference in a telehealth consultation is the doctor cannot conduct any physical exams, like blood pressure or blood tests. Therefore there may be a few more questions or ask or further investigations depending on the conditions, symptoms and case history.
Telehealth removes some of the barriers to accessing healthcare for those with whom mobility, time constraints, geographic location or health status may impact their ability to access health care.
